Cade is an active teenage boy who lives on a farm in rural Nebraska. He loves sports, all things outdoors, hunting, and his dog Waco. He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2017 at the age of 9 years. Since learning of his diagnosis, we have adopted the motto of “life as normal as possible for as long as possible”.
My name is Lynnette and I am mom of Cade and Cole. I wear many hats as it normally goes with moms and farmers/ranchers wives. I love to cook and bake and do farmers market every year in our town.
My husband, Brent, farms and ranches. This pretty much occupies his life all the time, but when he isn’t working, he loves to hunt and spend time with us.
Cole is newly graduated from high school! He will attend college in the fall with a planned career choice of welding.
This is the story of our life.
